Who we are:
FMHI-SF (Filipino Mental Helath Initiative - San Francisco) was established in 2012 through the collaboration of mental health providers, consumers, advocates, community leaders, and interested community members commited to supporting the wellness of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans in San Francisco.

Our Mission:
Through capacity building, outreach and engagement in the Filipino community, FMHI-SF strives to reduce stigma, promote awareness, increase access to culturally appropriate wellness services and increase effectiveness of the behavioral health services in San Francisco.

    Presented by Kularts, the Filipino-American Development Foundation (FADF), and the API Cultural Center - check out the amazing line-up of activities, performances and projects we have for your entire family!

    It's a jam-packed day of high-caliber artwork featuring a variety of Pinoy artists and Pilipino stories in the Bay Area!

    *We'll be providing snacks & refreshments. Don't forget to bring your towel/blanket to lounge in the grass. AND remember to bring your bike to participate in the all ages - learn to ride a bike class!

  • Ma'ARTES – Pinoy Arts Festival 2015


    The Ma'ARTES Festival in May 2015 features over 50 artists,
    6 events at 4 different venues throughout San Francisco's historic Filipino communities.

  • Mabuhay Health Center

    Clinic Scheduled every 2nd Saturday of the month in the Bayanihan Community Center. Drop-in hours: 10:30am - 1:30pm

    The Mabuhay Health Center is a free student-run community health clinic that aims to reduce health disparities existing within the South of Market district of San Francisco. Under the supervision of UCSF faculty, students participate in services in partnership with the Bayanihan Community Center. By providing free, ongoing monthly services including health screenings, medication therapy management, and health education seminars, Mabuhay Health Center hopes to promote a healthier lifestyle among SOMA residents.   • PG&E CARE Program

    The PG&E CARE (California Alternate Rates for Energy) program provides a monthly discount on energy bills for income-qualified households and housing facilities. Qualifications are based on the number of persons living in your home and your total annual household income. CARE Program online applications
